WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY YOUR PUPPY!!

In order to ensure that your puppy is coming from the best breeder and environment you would expect, Majestic Mi-Kis HIGHLY  RECOMMENDS  asking prospective breeders the following questions:

1)  How many Mi-Kis do you have?  (Many breeders do not want you to know how many Mi-Kis they have in their home or worse, in a barn, shed, or some type of outbuilding.) 

2)  Where are your Mi-Kis kept? (Some breeders keep their Mi-Kis in cages or crates most of the time due to the large amount they have.)

3)  How many litters do you have per year? (If a breeder is having 3,4,5 or even sometimes more litters at the same time, how can they possibly be caring adequately for all of them?) 

4)  Is this your sole means of income? (Is this something a breeder is doing for the love of the dog, or is this actually putting food on the table and paying the power bill?) 

5)  Are your Mi-Kis kept in cages (crates)?  (Some breeders may keep their Mi-Kis in crates or cages in order to prevent them from messing in the house, but how well socialized are they, if they are costantly being caged?... and what kind of quality of life do they have?) 

6)  Would you permit me to come to your home to see ALL of your Mi-Kis?  (If at all possible, you should go to the breeder's home to see exactly where they keep their adults, their new litters, everything!)

7)  Have you ever had to give a refund or replace a puppy for any reason and.. if so, why?  (This is a good question to ask for many reasons.  1. In order to see if their are problems in their breeding stock, but also to see how they handle problems in case you should have one.  Will they refund your money, or will they make you take another puppy out of a litter that you may not want?) 

8)  Do you give your own shots, or are your puppies seen by a licensed veterinarian?  (I think it would add some assurance to know that a licensed veterinarian is seeing and going over your puppy and giving the proper shot in the proper timing and of the proper quantity.) 

9)  Do you breed more than one breed, and if so how many? (If a breeder breeds more than one breed, how many of each breed do they have in their home, and how do they devote total quality and attention to better any one particular breed?)

At Majestic Mi-Kis our goal is to see that you receive a quality, well-bred, well-socialized, healthy Mi-Ki puppy for your money.  That is why if we don't currently have any puppies available, we will make recommendations of other quality, reputable, ethical, clean Mi-Ki breeders.  We want your experience in Mi-Kis to be the very best you have ever had in any breed!  All buyers deserve to be completely satisfied and overjoyed with their adoption.  Anything less is just unexceptable!
